CliniSorb Activated Charcoal Dressing absorb toxins, effectively removing malodour from wounds that can cause distress to the user. CliniSorb is a sterile activated charcoal cloth with a polyamide coating encased between viscose rayon layers. The polyamide layer keeps the dressing from adhering to the wound surface and allows fibres to escape, keeping the user as comfortable as possible.
CliniSorb has two identical sides and can therefore be used on either side. It's pliable and soft, and it can be trimmed to fit curved body parts. Because it can be reused for up to a week, it can be a cost-effective solution.
CliniSorb can be used to treat odour in a variety of wounds, including pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot, and fungating wounds. It can be used on wounds that are moderately or lightly exuding, with the latter requiring the use of a separate primary dressing to prevent adherence.
