C-Sorb is a non-adhesive dressing pad which absorbs and retains large amounts of fluid and exudate from wounds. The contact layer is non-absorbent and low adherent, allowing fluid to pass freely through the super absorbent core whilst also preventing user trauma during dressing changes. The lock-away mechanism distributes exudate evenly throughout the dressing, reducing the danger of maceration, while the liquid repellent backing prevents strike-through, improving user comfort.
It's super absorbent core retains any exude from the wound site and the lightweight polypropylene contact layer minimises adherence to the wound site. C-Sorb features a soft fabric design to improve user comfort.
It has a five-layer construction for optimal performance: a soft wound contact layer, layer two and three are dispersion layers designed to promote rapid absorption, a super absorbent core in the fourth layer, and a blue fluid repellent layer in the fifth layer which reduces the risk of strikethrough and soft edges that improve user comfort and wear time.
