L-Mesitran Wound Gel is a honey-based natural hydro-active wound gel/ointment. The composition of the gel promotes quick and clean wound healing.
When the gel comes into contact with your wounded skin, fluid is drawn from the surrounding tissues, and a moist wound-healing environment is established. This environment promotes skin healing by removing dirt and dissolving damaged tissue, prepping the skin for repair.
Once the gel has been absorbed into the damaged area, you can reapply it. The amount of fluid in the wound determines the rate of absorption and, as a result, the frequency with which it must be reapplied. L-Mesitran Wound Gel is non-sticky and may be applied over a bandage.
L-Mesitran Wound Gel is available in two formats, L-Mesitran Ointment, or L-Mesitran Soft (this product). L-Mesitran Soft features a lower honey content, designed with sensitive users in mind.
