It contains neutral triglycerides, which keep the wound edges soft and supple, preventing the wound from drying out and causing discomfort. Atrauman is a non-irritating and non-sensitizing material that is highly permeable to air and water vapour.
It contains no Vaseline or Paraffin and can be worn for up to 7 days without causing wound residue or clogging pores. Atrauman Wound Dressing also prevents granulation tissue from penetrating the dressing, which improves non-adhesive properties and reduces pain and trauma during removal.
